Shield enchantments

It would include new enchantments specific to shields. They would have maybe a Pounce enchantment where the mobs or players are pounced backwards like knockback just stronger. Maybe a Flaming enchantment where it's the same as flame on a bow or fire aspect on sword, just that you hold up your shield and it does it. Those are ideas but of course not final. I would like to see this happen in Minecraft 💚

    I like the idea of shield enchantments since it would change how PVP works. Perhaps the pounce enchantment would redirect explosions.

    It just makes sense

    Add Unbreaking, Mending and Protection to Shields,

    A new enchantement could be "reflect" (reflect arrows)

    I want something like Steel Plate where it could go to level 3 and it could take more hits from an axe before cooldown time

    i like this idea, i would also say for it to have other already used enchantments as well such as  unbreaking, mending and maybe something like thorns so damage is reflected back if they hit your raised shield

    As of 8/31/2022 the shield already have Unbreaking and Mending.

    IMO the Shield should be allowed to have Thorns and Protection (just like armor pieces) on the shield as well.

    I love the Pounce enchantment, but I think it should be called "Deflecting".
