Copper Shield

I think copper should be used to make a full metal shield, it would have more durability and would oxidize as it got closer to breaking, the copper shield could also have more knockback on the attacker than a normal shield.

    I like the idea of a copper shield, but not in the way suggested. Personally, I think this would work best:

    The copper shield acts like a regular shield, but has more durability. It's a standard shield with a copper plating. You'd craft this by putting a shield in the center of the crafting table, then filling the remaing slots with copper ingots.

    For this to really work, copper could be rarer than iron and found deeper, but it would work fine with the current rarity.

    Another addition that could be made is that a trident with the channeling enchantment could do extra damage and also take down the shield, given that copper is a great conductor
