Balanced Animal Drops

I feel like the drops of animals are too outdated. Why do only fish and skeletons drop bones? Rabbits and bats are virtually useless. All animals bigger than a bat should drop bones. There should be one type of leather, dropped by horses, cows, llamas, bats, rabbits, and donkeys. You should be able to shear llamas, and bundles should be made with normal leather. Also, this is just a visual preference, could chickens drop chicken legs instead of breasts? I mean, breasts are great and all, but I just like legs better. Thank you!
