I have a bundle, I fill it with flowers. I place bundle on ground and I see those flowers together.
I have a bundle, I fill it with books. Place it on the ground and it's a bag of books.
It wouldn't have to reflect the exact contents but ultimately bundles are just crates. I would change bundles so while they have a use early game, late game you can use them decoratively with the items it contains being easily shown somehow. Shift-Right click to place the bundle in the world and the appearance reflects whatever items are inside it.
I would love to walk into a room and there's a bag with gold bars and a few diamonds just sitting there and I can see at least one of each type of item inside it. This would let them both be early storage and also useful for map makers and mini-game designers.
Additionally since we don't bring the bundle up like an inventory I think they should store items like this: A bundle should hold 9 slots but each slot has a size of 16. So 64 cobble would take four slots, but a sword would only take one. etc. If they you know, wanted to keep the bundles small but also make them practical.
