Limit Bundles to a total capacity limit of 64 items.
But additionally limit Bundles to a small amount of item slots or "stacks". Something like 8 slots.
Allow non-stackable and limited-stack items to go into those Bundle inventory slots like normal as long as the total item count does not exceed 64.
Examples:
8*equipment
64*Ender Pearls (4/8 slots taken)
8*stacks of misc (64 total)
64 unique items is a lot. It's far more likely most people would only ever use Bundles with multiple of an items and having only one of each of64 different items in a Bundle would be unusual in gameplay which renders the need for multiple Bundles when only having one of any specific item redundant. I feel the limit of 64 unique items should be reduced if possible as long as the total capacity isn't harmed. Additionally the fact that Bundles serve literally no use for non-stackable items like enchanted books as well as serving very little use for limited stack items such as snowballs and Ender Pearls means that the very items that create the largest problems for inventory management are those that the Bundles are the least useful for.
Stacking limitations (for stuff like equipment) are mostly a balancing concern because those items can be used from inventory and placing them in a Bundle removes that utility. Thus stacking these items in Bundles is only a balance concern for stuff like treasure items such as saddles since the only reason they can't stack is because of inventory management gameplay.
