We need more uses for copper and amethyst

I think that copper and amethyst really need more things that they can be used for. Copper is really only used for the blocks and the telescope but I feel like for ore it should have more use maybe use it in some of the Redstone crafting recipes instead of iron. One idea I had for copper was to add a copper hopper and hopper minecart that don't link up to each other this could be useful for farms where you could have iron hoppers going under a copper hopper minecart and the minecart wouldn't put items into the iron hoppers. Maybe we could make amethyst bricks that are like dark prismarine but purple as I think that could be a very useful building block.

    I agree with the copper usage and that we need more uses for these, but idk about amethyst bricks.

    If copper can be crafted into pipes then I will be happy with it. Amethysts are already useful, but I think that maybe they could have a more practical use in enchanting.

    Copper Pipes, Copper Nugget and green fire.

    Amethyst bricks, chiseled amethyst and amethyst columns.

    Amethyst needs to be used as a magical item maybe enchanting but itd be cool to have more magical stuff rather than potions and enchants.

    gas powered pick You think that Amethysts are already useful? Can you please tell me why you think that, because imo theyre anything but.

    Amethysts are useful for tinted glass, which prevents light from passing a certain area. Not only is this great for decoration, but it could also prevent light from entering certain areas while you could see through it, which is great for spawner farms. Spyglasses are also useful in Bedrock edition where there's no Optifine zoom.

    I definitely think making note blocks out of wood and Amethyst would be a great idea! Replacing the middle ingredient with amethyst and the bottom with redstone. Definitely strongly believe in changing up some of the existing crafting recipes, such as the fact that iron is the most used item in crafting recipes and copper is a great replacement in the redstone recipes as in real life it is a better conductor. Things like amethyst could replace glass in recipes like the beacon and end crystal. There are tons of recipes like this, and I want purpose for mining my copper and amethyst.

    Another use for amethyst could be jewelled armour. It would help individualize player armour. Crafting it could be another use for the blacksmith table.

    It would consisit of small gemstones in fixed places on any of the metal or diamond armours. Geodes could be expanded to have various colour types, such as red ruby, yellow topaz, etc. It would provide even more incentive to find rare geodes as a wearable status symbol.

    I have more ideas:
    - Make bronze and brass, which might have their own uses.
    - Copper tools? - Since copper appears to be so common, maybe they could be between stone and iron. Perhaps, copper pickaxes will only be able to break the blocks that stone pickaxes can break, but are more durable.
    - Copper wire - carries redstone signals over longer distances with no delay.

    Bronze uses:

    Bronze tools - Between stone and iron, if copper tools are not implemented, and between copper and iron if they are.

    I don’t really like the use of pipes for conveyance because Minecraft already has hoppers and item elevators(droppers, water, etc.).

    i am starting a cobblestone mine on a server i play on and i have more Copper than i have Cobblestone and i cant do diddly squat with it

    Copper is like an ore and looks exactly the same as iron ingots just more coppery so I think copper should be used for two purposes.
