Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Siege weapons

Siege weapons are something that Minecraft has been lacking for a while. Siege weapons such as catapult, ballista, and chariots, are needed in Minecraft. Also I would like to see some castles in Minecraft as well.

    There should definitely be naturally generating castles (not too big), and chariots would be cool too if done properly.
    Siege weapons would not work, as they would have to be larger than one block. This would create too much complication, as one of minecraft’s core mechanics is ‘one action affects one block’. Another problem with siege engines is that they take creativity out of building one yourself. You could build a cannon if you wanted too, and there are many ways to do it - building a good one is very impressive. If you could create one by placing a single block, this would be taken away. Mojang have already discounted cannons for this reason.

    Notch actually said they would be added back in the day, but he never got a chance to add them, so that window has already been LONG gone.

    Chariots aren’t siege weapons, and you forgot to include trebuchets, but yeah, I agree.
