I suggest starting out with 27 inventory slots, including the hotbar, but each advancement completed grants an inventory slot, purple achievements granting 2, and hidden advancements granting 3. This wouldn't hinder the player early game, as there are so many advancements to do within the first hour of gameplay, but it would avoid cluttering the inventory, and would encourage exploration and going into the nooks and crannies of the game the typical player would ignore due to it only being a small advancement. This would also create the use of advancements, as right now there is only experience granted and a sound effect with a card in the top right.
