Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Purple Nether Squash

This would be a nether fruit with poisonous seeds.  To eat it with out poisoning yourself you need to cook it to deactivate the poison in the seeds.  You also shear it to remove the seeds.  The seeds could be used to make poison tipped arrows.  The hollowed out squash would be used to make an iron golem or snow golem that can spit the poisonous seeds in addition to their other attacks.  The squash needs to be grown on tilled soulsoil or on tilled netherrack soil.  Netherrack soil is crafted using netherrack and nether quartz.  The fruit would normally grow in the soulsand valley.
