Sky and Space +teleportation pads

If you could increase the build height and make it where when you build up past a point the sky begins to turn black similar to terraria and you start to lose oxygen unless you have a space suit and you can make cool space stations up in the sky. It would also be cool instead of having to walk or use an elytra to get up there is teleporter pads. Teleportation through the means of a crafting recipe of endstone and an ender pearls and you can connect them. However I think there would have to be some limitations maybe such as a 500 block radius horizontally but infinite vertically. That'd be awesome and would be a cool thing to add in caves + cliffs. Maybe have some ingredient have to do with the warden? Warden heart? some cool stuff.
