When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

I think this is a fantastic idea! It kind of pairs with the fact that slabs/glass work as insulators to the base input of comparators and slabs. In this instance, copper (and possibly iron and gold) could work as conductors to transfer the redstone signal downwards to side inputs!

This is a very cool idea in my opinion. There are some certain cases where you just want to direct redstone to comparators in this manner. I've had my fair experience of cases like that as a redstoner. I also think it's good that we use a special block for it and not just any block. We can still separate redstone from comparators and anytime we want to power stuff like this, we just use copper. Copper really needs more redstone-related features like this since it makes sense. I look forward to seeing this in 1.17!

This is a cool idea! this should definitely be added to the game. It can compact builds a lot, it does help with computational redstone since compacting is not exactly easy to do with computational redstone, though it might help with regular redstone too.

This is fun. I believe it would be useful in some situations where currently impossible to make a solution,
