Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Improvements to Fortune

Pickaxes with Fortune should have mining bonus for iron ore, gold ore and ancient debris. This is most prioritized for ancient debris, because 1. it's very rare and 2. we need 4 netherite scrap for just 1 piece of netherite ingot.

Other people have suggested on here that instead Ore blocks dropping themselves(w/o silk touch), they should work like Nether Quartz Ore or Nether Gold Ore blocks do, as in they drop a separate item that gets smelted for ingots and then Fortune can be used to increase the drops.

IMO I think that idea is good for copper/iron/gold etc. but not for Ancient Debris tho. The point of debris is that it's hard to get, whereas the others are just common building/crafting materials.
