Maple trees!

Maple trees would appear in a unique biome called the maple forest. They have a light-brown bark texture that has a softer look than other trees. The planks it produces would follow suit, with a Light-brown color and soft textures but with a very subtle red tint to it. Its leaves would be a deep red and could be used as an ingredient to make podzol along with coarse dirt. The structure of the tree would be straight before spreading out to many branches and the leaf structure would be teardrop shaped. Syrup can be farmed from the maple trees by making a spigot with wood and placing it on a maple log. The spigot would remain in the log and every 6-8 minutes, start dripping with syrup to indicate that it is full and can be harvested with an empty bottle. Syrup would be used to make 2 sugar or sold to a farming villager.
