Copper Doors and Copper Keys

I have seen ideas related to copper doors, but I think the best idea is to use keys (made of copper) to open them. This would be great for adventure maps.

    I'd like to see copper lock and keys for all doors and chests

    This would be great for adventure maps! Voted. However, instead of making only copper doors lockable, we should just add a lock made of an iron ingot and two chains on each side, so you can lock all doors and chests

    And a copper lock that can be added to the front of a chest.

    You can use an amethyst shard to unlock it, so there's not too many not Minecrafty blocks.

    Why not do the same for trapdoors? Copper trapdoors for the win toooo

    I like the door but feel as if the key should be a creator tool for map making.

    Copper doors and trapdoors would be amazing. The esthetic would match very well with buildings in granite.

    I was going to make a suggestions for copper doors anyway, but I like the idea of copper keys, too. That way you have to carry the key with you instead of using a button or some other "in place" method of opening the door. You could make extra keys and hide them under slabs or other places.

    That would be cool! Each key can unlock a specific door it's linked to
