With the Glowing Squid coming into Minecraft there are many speculation on what is should drop or what features might have. Honestly I'm not sure myself so my speculation is for what it should drop. My own thoughts is a glowing ink sac that would have the feature of making the words of a sign glow in the dark similar to when you right click a sign with any dye to change it's color.
This would make seeing words better in the darkness for custom adventure maps. Now the glowing ink sac may have more usage but this is only a feature that I speculate that could happen.
