One thing I have noticed is that there are no kelp forests biomes. There is kelp around places but no kelp forests, (if their already are kelp forests in Minecraft then the amount of kelp it takes to consider it to be a kelp forest is very underwhelming.) Let's change that.
Kelp forests would be a sub-biome that spawns in the lukewarm and cold ocean biomes and their deep versions. Kelp forests will include a lot of kelp (as the name suggests).
Kelp forests would have the normal sea mobs spawn there like drowned, and fish, but squids won't spawn there. They would also have a new fish called a giant kelp fish that lives there.
Although you would have kelp for days, you must be cautious of the drowned because it may be hard for you to see them making them an even bigger threat in this sub-biome.
The reason why this would be a good idea is because the kelp forests are endangered and putting this in the game would be a great way to raise awareness but it will also be a cool biome to explore with all of this kelp.
