Alpha Island

This suggestion is inspired by the Biomes o' Plenty mod. I felt it was such a great idea, that something similar should be in vanilla minecraft.

The alpha island would be similar to the mushroom islands, in the way that it would be extremely rare (maybe even rarer than the mushroom islands). The islands would replicate the old minecraft alpha textures. You would be able to obtain alpha saplings from the island, and grow alpha trees. You would also be able to take the grass and leaves with you, using silk touch.

This would be a fun and nostalgic easter egg for people who have played minecraft for a long time.
