Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Rails Freeze when it Snows

Rails would be frozen if they came in contact with snowy weather. They would have less traction meaning that the control over minecarts would be decreased causing them to be more slippery. However, heat sources such as torches would prevent them from freezing, as well as melting the icy tracks down. This would add a bit more realism to the game and make riding rails in snowy climates more dangerous.

    I think rails are already so under powered that it cant afford any more nerfs until its speed increases but it is a really cool idea

    I don't think that the rails are controllable in the slightest, all you could do is go forward
