We all know that some form of magic exists in minecraft so why dont we implement a magic system that can be used by the player. Firstly I suggest three new mobs elves, pixies and wisps. Elves will be similar to villagers and you can trade with them using sapphires in exchange for magical items. Pixies will be mischievous and take items from the player and they will drop pixie dust when killed. Wisps will be capturable in a glass bottle. These mobs will spawn in the roofed forest and elves will spawn in structures similar to villages. A new block called an alter will be used to craft spells using ruinic pages found in dungeons throughout the overworld. This alter will be powered by pixie dust and has to be surrounded by natural blocks like flowers and ferns. The spells that can be crafted includes the attacks of the vindicators as well as the ability to summon fire or lightning but also defensive spells such as the ability to summon a magical shield or a healing spell or even practical spells like spells that speed up crop growth or a teleportation spell similar to ender pearls. The spells are cast using a staff which is obtained through trading with elves. A basic staff has one inventory slot but this can be upgraded to two. The staff is powered by a wisp in a glass bottle which will have a blue durability bar showing how much use it has left. When the durability runs out a new wisp has to be collected.
