What is parity? This category is designed just for features that exist but work one way on one platform, and another way on a different platform. Bugs are not parity! This sounds like a very good idea. I always hoped that they would add Bedrock/Java crossplay. I think the reason they don't do that is because they want you to buy the more expensive Windows 10 edition and that's Bedrock. Plus Bedrock has marketplace and they probably want you to buy stuff from that.

This needs to happen, but it can't if we don't talk about it. Tell your friends about this post so we can see this feature having a shot at being implemented into the game.

different physics. one person tried using a method to get bedrock players on java servers (still need to put a java login info before can connect) and the java anti-cheat lagged the bedrock account back because of the physics different. Not to mention the different account & code systems

Things in bedrock aren't the same in Java. Redstone is different. There's no bossbars in bedrock for raids. Just look at this entire parity page and you'll notice that.

The poster just said that GeyserMC enables the ability of crossplay so this is NOT impossible and GeyserMC does work. If GeyserMC can do it, Mojang definitely can and give total parity between Bedrock and Java, excluding the UI and textures but including the many things Java has that Bedrock doesn't.

Even if Java and Bedrock play on the same server, Java can put any item into their offhand, while Bedrock cannot, even if a Bedrock player is next to a Java Player.

    Dear Minecraft Development Team,
First of all, thank you for creating such an amazing and creative game that connects millions of players worldwide.
I am writing to kindly request that you consider implementing crossplay functionality between the Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Many players, including myself, would love to be able to play together regardless of the platform they use, whether it’s PC (Java Edition), mobile, or consoles (Bedrock Edition).
Crossplay would greatly enhance the Minecraft community by allowing friends to play together more easily and unify the player base. I understand there are technical challenges, but I believe it would be a wonderful step forward for the game’s future.
Thank you for your time and for considering this request. I hope to see this feature in the near future.
    Best regards,
