The necromance would be an uncommon undead mob that has the ability of spawning other undead mobs. It would like a shadow figure with a torn black hood, and would wield a staff.
It would have 30 health, be ranged, burn in sunlight(like skeletons it would also seek refugee from sunlight), and have a sight of 16 blocks.
When spotting the player, the necromance would do a call out and spawn zombies and skeletons to help it. The mobs that it would spawn to help would be partially based on the biome it is in: Desert, husks; Tundra, strays; Nether Wastes, zombie pigmen* and wither skeletons; And others.
*They would spawn rarely and not be naturally hostile to player.
They would attack the player with a charged magic burst attack, were it would fire 3-4 plasma balls at once that would quickly fly through the air completely straight, with no gravity constraint. Each projectile would do 2 physical + 2 magical damage (total of 2 hearts per shot).
Necromances would spawn rarely around the Overworld (similar spawning chances to Witches), and frequently in Soul Sand Valleys.
Other factors:
- Other undead mobs would never fight back against necromances. This includes them accidentaly hitting them with their magic, as well as naturally hostile mobs like zoglins.
- Piglins and illagers would fear necromances.
- Golems would attack and be attacked by necromances.
- Necromances would spawn zombies near villagers, but would not actively attack them with magic.
