Maybe it would drop white wood that is dyeable rather than pink wood

I also agree with calaveras11010 I think that white wood would be better obviously also coming with fences, stairs, slabs, planks, etc. And the leaves should drop cherries when destroyed, which could either be in pairs or single cherries. And maybe they give you two hunger points more?

I love the idea for "cherry trees" or "cherry blossoms" in my vanilla Minecraft gameplay. They should be found in lower quantities than the standard "Green Oak Trees" in other subtropical biomes, though more common to the flower fields biome. They should be found in four color variations pink (common), white (common), yellow (uncommon), and a light, "spring or lime" green (uncommon). I'd like these trees to be planted near some decorative ponds around my home base, and would like other options besides green trees to grow.  Another feature that could be added is a light blanket of petals that appear both under the foliage and in the area directly around that space, over time. The petals should only appear on flat blocks, both under the tree & around the tree. Snow & running water should stop this light blanket from appearing, and it would only appear three or four blocks down from the trees trunk. The fallen petals would look nice over both on the ground & on the pond.

If the Devs do implement these trees in vanilla Minecraft, perhaps occasional, or "periodic", fallen petal-like particles can happen. Though foliage & petal falling effects might be a  RTX-Exclusive feature.

It’d be pretty cool if they exclusively spawned in flower forest biomes as well.

No. Perhaps they should be more prominent in the flower forest biomes. However they naturally are found in any subtropical environments.

Of course there should be fewer of them found than the green trees. But I really want something other than green & dark green trees. The blossoms are more commonly pink & white, though can also be found as yellow or a light, "Easter" green.
