The most controversial addition to an end update would post likely be a new gear class: The "Enderite" It makes sense. The end is scarier and more late-game than the nether, so it's gear would obviously be better, right? There are a few key problems to this addition though. A: Netherite was just added, and to eclipse it less than four updates from it's addition just seems wrong. B: If Enderite was to be added, it would presumably be the best tool, but other than being found in the end, it would just be a retextured netherite with slightly better stats, unlike the creative, unique, netherite. C: Enderite needs a better name so it doesn't sound like retextured netherite.
Moonstone Ore
Moonstone Ore is an ore rarely found in the End Spikes Biome. Found in small clumps, They drop one Moonstone Fragment when mined. Moonstones are much likelier to be found at higher elevations, so look closely at the tips of the Endstone Spikes.
Moonstones
5 Moonstone Fragments make a Moonstone. These Moonstones can now be crafted into Blocks, Armor, and Tools. The Armor has more powerful Knockback Resistance, The Sword deals more damage (9), and the Tools are faster. Seems better than netherite, right? Wrong.
The Trade-off.
Let's use a Moonstone Hoe as an example. An Iron Hoe provides 250 uses. A Netherite Hoe, 2031 uses. A Moonstone Hoe will provide no less than 178 uses. That means that you could break eleven Moonstone Hoes and you could still be using a netherite hoe and it wouldn't have broken.
