freezing on mountains

I think they should make getting cold a thing, were if you are in a cold area for a long enough period of time, you will slowly start taking damage until you either die, get out of the area, or warm up.

and as for warming up, I was thinking you can either stand by a campfire, regular fire, or a torch. but you could also wear leather armor, which would make you temporarily cold resistant, this would also make traversing mountains harder, as you wouldn't be able to wear that hard earned netherite armor you made, and making mountain climbing, a lot more of a challenge.
