Sun Cycle

I’ve been noticing a few days ago on Minecraft PE, I was playing with my friends on survival mode set to Normal. We been out there for two days and we just collected wood when the sun is going up. It took us 10 second then we ran back to our base which is 5 sec away. We added some wood on the floor it took us a second till we look outside to see the sunset. We didn’t even get the chance to do a lot of stuff, causing us to quit.

    So what is the problem? Just wait for the sun to rise or get a bed
