Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lavender

I believe lavender should be added to the game. This could be used in a few ways, including attracting bees from a further distance and trading with villagers, maybe it's their favourite flower? It could have its own biome with lots of lavender covering area. This could be a small and rare biome and an amazing one to build in. Who wouldn't want a nice cozy cottage in a field of lovely fragrant flowers. It could be brewed into a calming splash potion that makes aggressive neutral mobs passive again (thanks to cranzag in the comment section). When a bee does collect pollen from this flower, it could be paler and be twice as effective as pollinating with any other flower.

    As lavender is said to have calming properties, it could de-aggro aggravated neutral mobs such as spiders, iron golems, and endermen
