Nope. Any new, useful, or unique item will be an incentive for players to attack it rather than avoid it

cranzag There's an advancement that requires you to kill all hostile mobs. There will be at least one incentive out there no matter what. An extra purely cosmetic incentive is something only players who were going to kill it in the first place would collect.

Having a vanity drop is even more incentive. Some players may not want to fight it for an advancement, but they may want to fight it for an item

Besides, Mojang has said that they want the Warden to be like a natural disaster, so it could be left out of the advancement. Either way, I'm fine with it being in an advancement, but I do not want a vanity drop

cranzag who on the earth cares if there is incentive to kill a warden or not, the game is specifically designed to be played the way you want to play it. If you don't want to kill a warden no one is stopping you, but you shouldn't limit other people's way of playing either.

Mojang obviously cares about how some aspects of the game are played. For example, they could have made it so you can mine straight through an Ocean Monument, but instead they made it so Elder Guardians give mining fatigue. Similarly, Mojang does not want players to face the Warden head on, they want it to be avoided, and as I agree with that, I merely state that having a vanity drop would undermine that design
