Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enchanting Gem

This could be a new type of ore in the game. This ore would be found in the end dimension. It would be rarely located on the underside of the end islands. When you mine the ore it drops a single unrefined enchanting gem. When this ore is unrefined it is useless. To refine an enchanting gem you have to drop it in lava. when in the lava it will create visual particles that will stop once the process has finished. With a refined enchanting gem you can do one of two things. You can use it in an enchantment table instead of lapis to reduce the amount of levels needed for that enchantment. The more you put in the less leve The second thing you can do with this item is smelt the refined enchanting gem to get experience. When you smelt an enchanting gem you will get some amount of experience levels. I thought this would be a cool way to give the end an ore of it's own. If this were to be added to the game I would be fine with a few changes. I need help coming up with a better name... any suggestions?

    At first I thought it was too OP, but when I consider how hard it would be to get, and refine in lava no less, I think that balances out the uses. It's pretty cool! Like some kind of xp ore. Maybe it doesn't give xp when you mine it, because it gives you crazy xp in other ways. And since they're rare-ish, people won't get too many of them unless they're absolutely crazy. And while the effects are cool, they aren't at the level of entirely game breaking or unfair. It's just xp. Perhaps the name should be changed, but that's just because I don't see how it fits the item.

    I was careful to not to make anything game breaking (that's never good)I tried to make them quite rare and hard to obtain in order to balance it out It definitely needs a better name.
