Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New fruites and new vegetables

New fruites.like banana.jakefrute.coconut.dragon fruite. New vegetables like tomato.lemon.onion.etc.

    I think when Mojang eventually adds palm trees to the game, which they revealed and 'guarantee' will come to deserts, they should add a new mechanic for growing unique fruits based on the biome (temp/humidity); specifically, deserts/oasis (dry/arid and hot) should grow dates, a fruit from the date palm tree, and lukewarm/warm oceans / beaches (subtropical and medium rainfall) should grow coconuts, a fruit from the coconut palm tree, and finally tropical forests and jungles (wet/humid and hot) should grow either acai or pejibaye, fruits from the acai palm tree and peach palm tree respectively. I suppose an alternative for the tropical forests / jungles could be the palm trees growing bananas, but this wouldn't reflect the real world as much as these other types of fruits. Granted, these are all different fruits and tree types, despite all being classified as palm trees, though some liberalism in this regard wouldn't be un-Minecrafty and as stated would be a very unique and interesting mechanic for introducing these new types of fruit to the game from a single tree / sapling type. It would also require players to set up farms / bases in different biomes since they wouldn't be able to grow any of these fruits in plains, taiga, and other moderate or cold climates.

    Onions would be useful for clearing negative potion effects like how they absorb and clear toxins in real life
