Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dog collar+dog bed

The dog collar would be an item that your pet dog would drop upon death yet you could bring you dog back to life by bringing the dog collar to a dog bed yet it would take 5 experience levels to revive them. The dock bed could be crafted with 2 wool, name tag and 2 wood. The dog could also be linked to the dog bed allowing you to right click the bed to teleport the dog to it.

    I was thinking that Nametags could retain data such as the color of a pets collar as well as the name. If they are made to drop upon death, they could be the item used to revive the pet or just be used on a new pet giving them the same name and collar color

    I like the idea, but the recipe could use some tweaks. My idea is: 

    Three srtring, one name tag, and one iron (the name tag and the iron woul be for the nameplate) for the dog collar

    Two wool and three wood for the dog bed. Also, the dog should be able to respawn for free as long as you assign the bed to the dog with a collar. (The collar would still stay on the dog)

    I was thinking something similar but at death the dog would respawn back at the bed/dog bowl.like the respawn anchor it would indicate if it's charged.maybe clicking dog bones like glow dust in nether anchor !

    Also for the dog to have some wandering ai around its bed rather than be sat dead still or following me ! It would Give your base some life if your dog's patrol a small area around there bed!

    Horses to have a similar mechanic with a hey bail in a troth / caldron could be used to summon horse home

    There is already a dog collar on the dog when you tame it. But it’s a good idea!

    So dogs can sleep. So players can know who owns it.
