Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lightning Rods increase refinery times when connected to furnaces.

When you place a lightning rod and it's base is connected to either a furnace, blast furnace or smoker, and is struck by lightning, the rod will then charge the furnace for 1 minute, doubling the speed of smelting.

This is just a small feature, and quite a situational one too, but it would be really interesting since it would encourage players to place furnaces outside during a thunderstorm to speed up their smelting process temporarily.
