Boss Overhaul #3: Redstone Monstrosity
The redstone monstrosity is the logo of Minecraft Dungeons, but it could still use some great improvements. Here's how to make the redstone monstrosity boss fight more interesting:
Stage 1: In this stage, the redstone monstrosity behaves how it currently does, but it's melee attack will deal more damage and stun you, leaving you vulnerable to the redstone cubes.
Stage 2: The redstone monstrosity will activate the redstone cores, 1 every 2 seconds, in a random order; this is to keep the player on their toes. Once all 4 cores are used, it will attack normally, but periodically activate the redstone cores.
Stage 3: The redstone monstrosity will charge up a huge shockwave attack for 10 seconds. During this moment, the player could either attack it, or stand far back to not get stunned. The resulting shockwave will not only stun the player, but make 2 redstone golems fall from the sky. The redstone monstrosity will continue attacking normally, but won't activate the redstone cores.
Stage 4: The redstone monstrosity will periodically charge up a huge shockwave attack for 10 seconds (like it did in stage 3), but it will only stun the player and make debris fall from the sky; no more redstone golems. The debris will cast a shadow so you can dodge it before it falls on you. Use melee or ranged attacks to defeat it in this final stage.
