How do I collect clippings to plant?

    I am having the same issue.I just started the Bloom quest, I am in the garden, I found the 3 tools, and have the book. The book pretty much says to take clippings, prepare the ground then plant the clippings and water them. So I keep clipping the plants with the pruners and I am not getting any clippings. Neither can I prepare the ground! What am I doing wrong??

    Yea, it won’t let you collect the clippings while doing the mine key. So I can’t get past to the next level

    I have collected the pruners.the shears. And the watering can. But I can't get the hatchet..

    The hatchet is in the green house zone. Across the bridge. Near the tower you can upgrade. And the axe is in the maze. You’ll need you clippers to get to the maze in homestead.

    If your playing on mobile you need to tap on the land flowers instead of holding down on each plant. Hoped I helped :).

    Use the clippers and use Lt instead of Rt if youre on xbox one to harvest clippings!

    I’m dealing with this as well. I cheated to see if I can go around it and that works. But when you need to water your plants. It doesn’t work, none of the tools work.

    So I got the clippings, but it wont let me use the trowel to prepare the dirt. Im on xbox, it says Rt to mine but does nothing. I'm at a loss. Help.

    (Xbox) Hold Right Trigger (RT) and then press Left Trigger (LT). Make sure it's a flowery plant!
