Nether Boiling Off Water

Ok so hear me out, water can not go in the nether and just sizzles right as its place, but what would be cool is water will take a little bit to boil off in the nether (maybe like 10 seconds) water boiling in the nether would be hot so it hurts you like lava, but not as much. And maybe it couldn’t be used to make obsidian, such as it boiling off just before it hits the lava
