feathers dropp off of chickens

like how eggs function but no pop sound

    At the very least, they could drop feather particles, especially when hit

    I think we should be able to shear chickens because I want to get the feathers for arrows but I don't want to hurt the little guys! It makes me so sad to have to kill my chickens! :( I think dropping off feathers randomly might make too many entities in a world, after all, the chickens only lay one egg each day, and I have no idea how many feathers they would drop. But at least shearing the feathers off to pluck them would be so great! And if you have to feed them seeds to get the feathers back, that would make it so you don't get too many. It's easy to get tons of seeds after all.

    I have chickens in real life, they rarely shed feathers (if they even do at all) and shearing them would put them through tremendous pain. You're just gonna have to settle with killing the little guys :(

    I forgot to say, chickens can take 3 - 12 months for their feathers to grow back.

    This should also happen with parrots.
