You can feed it to your dogs, and sell it to clerics. I'd save it for the clerics personally.

Although you can sell it to clerics, I think it should also be able to be put in the composter. Sometimes you want bone meal more than emeralds.

Just make a hay farm and put the seeds in the composter. Fills it up fairly quickly and they are a lot easier to get.

So this is in response to the 2 arguments against allowing it to be compostable.

#1 saving rotten flesh for clerics is a waste of time for anyone with an Iron farm because : 64 flesh trades for 2 emeralds…. Vs trading Iron for emeralds at rate of 1:1 (once you cure villager) so trading iron you get 12 emerald for 12 iron from every villager you trade with and you can trade them x2 per minecraft day.

#2 creating a new farm just for bonemeal is not a good argument against letting rotten flesh be bone mealed sure people can make many different types of bone meal farms from killing mobs at grinders to all mob farms to moss farms. Diversity is a big part of modern Minecraft.

Allowing rotten flesh to be bone-mealed would be a blessing as currently many people are sending the flesh either into cactus or lava just to get rid of it as 25,000 rotten flesh per hour is useless only wasting time to try to use it….

P.S. for anyone who thinks that would be too op for large farms… well people already have large kelp farms, large sugarcane farms, cactus farms all feeding composters making massive amounts of bonemeal so its already in-game it wouldn't unbalance anything!
In Fact it may even improve latency.
