Blaze Rods Don't Burn

Blazes are mobs that spawn in Nether Fortresses. When they are about to shoot projectiles at the player they catch on fire, this gives a warning to the player that the blaze is about to attack.

What's weird is that the blaze doesn't take fire or lava damage but takes damage when submerged in water but the Blaze Rod that drops from Blazes when they die does burn when it falls in lava or into fire and it doesn't burn when it falls into water.

I think Blaze Rods and Blaze Powder should not burn in fire and lava just like Netherite.

Although I am not sure to make it that Blaze Powder and Blaze Rods "burn" in water though, I think that would be very annoying to get all your Blaze Rods burned because you drowned but I also think it would make the most sense.

    but you can use blaze rods as fuel in furnaces, so nothing makes sense at all! How come blazes don't take fire damage if blaze rods burn!

    This would not make sense due to the fact that you use them for fuel in furnaces. Interesting concept but it would not make any sense

    As a reply to the previous to comments, the fact that you use them in furnaces doesn't mean they can burn. You use lava as fuel but lava doesn't burn. it just means blaze rods are heat emitters, like fire itself.

    I'd like to add to this suggestion: Any nether-exclusive mob's loot shouldn't burn. Wither skeleton skulls are hard to get, and wither skeletons don't burn. Therefore, their skulls shouldn't burn. Ghast tears and magma cream as well.
