In some survival games, there are temperature systems that a player must by wary off, adding another layer of danger to the game, and I feel it would be a great addition to Minecraft survival. The temperature system could be optional (toggle on/off in world settings) or could be put into a new difficulty: Brutal, which would be harder that even hardcore (minus the only 1 life bit) adding a challenge for even the most skill of the Minecraft veteran players and speedrunners. The temperature system could work as follows:
plains and forest are generally mild and require nothing to protect against
deserts and Mesas and the nether are extremely hot and make hunger drain faster and poison more powerful.
snowy biomes and the end are very cold, causing hunger to drain slower but making the player move slower and weaker to incoming damage unless wearing armor that would prevent the cold (such as leather)
overall, I feel this could add new challenges to Minecraft and give people new ideas for how to play the game. I will love to hear opinions in the comments and any (constructive) criticism anyone has
