Why do the inhabitants need a blacksmith's desk, where they can only work with netherite? How do we manage to make another ingot of the same size from four ingots and scrap metal? Why is one ingot required to cover any piece of armor? We spend on boats and on a cuirass one netherite ingot? When we cover our shoes we lose half of the ingot, it's too rough. Why can't we cover a diamond block (9 diamonds) with one netherite ingot to make a netherite block when we can cover a diamond cuirass (8 diamonds)? My idea → the blacksmith's table, where we cover diamond armor with netherite, now works with all materials, but requires the appropriate amount of material. For example, almost broken enchanted gold boots + 4 iron ingots → iron boots with the same enchantments. You can also add leftover material from old armor, like a few gold nuggets if we reforged gold boots, but that's just an additional idea. Probably leather armor, wooden/stone tools cannot be reforged like that, but you can reforge chain mail, gold, iron into chain mail, gold, iron, diamonds. Upgrade from diamond to netherite armor can also be made on this table - diamond breastplate + 8 netherite ingots → netherite breastplate. One netherite ingot is crafted from one gold ingot and one ancient scrap metal at the workbench. On the other hand, you can again remove the functionality of the blacksmith's table and craft netherite armor and tools in the workbench. Diamond Leggings + 7 Netherite Ingots → Netherite Leggings.
