Netherite armor should reduce fire damage

I think for each piece of netherite you wear, fire damage should be reduced. For example, chestplate and leggings could reduce by 7 percent each, and helmet and boots could reduce by 3 percent, so you have a total 20 percent reduction with full netherite. Of course the percentages might have to be tweaked because it could be op with fire protection.

    tbh netherite should have fire protection instead of knockback resistance. knockback resist doesn't even make sense as much as fire prot does, since it comes from the nether, hot stuff.

    maybe they should give knockback resist to a different armor set if alternate (other than netherite) late-game armor options ever get added

    If something resists to lava it doesn't mean that it can protect US from fire...because fire is not protected from the armor itself...
