Green axolotl

Pls put in green axolotls like they showed in the pictures and demos!!

why is there a picture with a green axolotl for the snapshot, when there aren’t actually any!?

    Probably because it was one of the concept colors that didn't make it. Still wanna see it though.

    Yeah would love to see this, perhaps in 1.18, the green axolotl could be a biome exclusive Axolotl, or only spawn in the deep dark... Anyway it’s a great looking axolotl and I would love to see it in game!

    They don't want to put in a green axolotl because in some parts of the pet industry, people dye axolotls.

    It's not a natural colour and they don't want to promote animal cruelty.

    The only reason there's a blue axolotl in game because it's just a reference to the Pokémon, Mudkip

    I've been wanting the green axolotls. And they look much cooler than the blue axolotls. In the past I was wondering if green axolotls were added in 1.17 . Probably it will be in 1.18.

    In México there are 17 species of Axolotls, and the green exist, I hope they add the green and black version

    I miss the green axolotl. I hope they are planning on adding him and his inclusion in the trailer wasn't another bluestone accident.

    I think it'd be really cool for it to be a rare variant like the Blue Axolotl. I enjoyed the challenge to acquire one, but perhaps maybe the green variation could have another means of acquisition like a natural spawn like pink sheep.

    I think adding the green axolotl back in would be really cool, since gene editing has produced axolotls that fluoresce green under a blacklight!
    So in minecraft they could be glowing like the glow squid, whenever it gets added that they actually emit light and don't just have emissive textures.
