Better use for Copper ore: 1.17 Caves & Cliffs

Copper ore sounds great. But it really doesn't have much use. I mean, why would anyone try to mine copper for builds in survival? They have other blocks. It's only got 2 uses. 1. The lightning rod so ur house doesn't burn down and.2. The telescope. Copper needs more uses otherwise it will just be another pointless minecraft addition

  the builds would be cool man, i don't think that is a issue. The big issue is that right now there is no point for making the telescope besides looking from a far, and having the lightning rod does prevent lightning but it is just used for one occasion. i think there should be more uses to these 2 items. and probably introduce electric conduction. since we now have copper in the game. we can combine this new mechanic with redstone some how so we don't ruin that bond of science.
