If you drop an item on a campfire it cooks.

Basically if an item drops on a campfire the campfire automatically starts cooking on the meat. This means that you can automate food cooking without fuel. I don't feel like this is to OP because it makes sense and the food still pops out everywhere, takes a while to cook, and can only hold 4 items. The difference between this and the old way of doing it is this can become automatic while the old way is manuel. This isn't a game changing thing it just make there be another cool late game thing you can do.
