Each player should start out with level 1 telekinesis that has a keybind or button you press to use it. This will have them be able to use an empty hand and lift up dropped items, blocks and animals, and will be able to throw them or place them down or move them, so the more you level up the stronger your throw can be
Elemental magic, An altar block that lets you unlock spells for each element, and instead of having like a staff it would be like an item you hold and when holding it there's an animation where there's like a fireball or water ball in a players hand, and you would have to make something to craft the spell with ingredients from the game. And you can choose if you want a projectile, beam or like a spell you cast on yourself. And since the spell would be in a players inventory that could take up space so there should be a spell book that you can either cast the spells directly from the book, or take the spell out and have it in your hand for the animation
Spells would use mana, and the higher level your magic/telekinesis is, the less mana that would be used. Also for like water spells, if a player is near water they should be able to use that for their spell instead of their mana, same for fire and earth/nature, and air if you are high up in the air. And you can use an air spell for elytra to go up in the air, things of that nature That not only help you but you will be able to protect yourself without weapons and just your hands. Great to play alone and with friends
