Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Lunar Cycle Calendar / Tracker

A Lunar Cycle Calendar that can be crafted to let players know the current and upcoming Moon phases. So players at a quick look can plan ahead for activities that take place only on / during certain Moon Phases such as special Enchantments and crafting bonuses that can only be done/made during specific Lunar Phases.

Maybe make it a redstone block? Different outputs dependent on the fullness of the moon? I'm sure some Redstone guru like Mumbo Jumbo could find a use for it.
