More humanoid mobs (similar to villagers)

I think there should be more neutral mobs, capable of attacking, but also trading with the player and other mobs.  Maybe mermaids/mermen.  Maybe just re-vamping villagers. 

I think it'd be interesting to further expand upon the concept of self-sufficient mobs who can trade among themselves and with the player(s), and even have wars.  I understand that the idea of wars and stuff is explored with the Pillagers/Villagers dynamic, but it could be much cooler if there were more mobs who fought back.

Plus, playing alone gets a little lonely, so what if there was some more casual dialog options for the mobs?  This would make Minecraft feel more alive than ever, and I think lots of people would like the addition.

    I like this idea a lot . there have been soooo many posts suggesting that mojang should make villagers fight. All of them have been rejected, so why not add brand new types of villager like npcs . fight like piglins but trade like villagers . I hope they bring back the Steve mob or a human mob with multiple skin tones.

    Maybe for the END dimension. The END don't have any mobs trading
