Berry use on cakes

berries aren't very useful in minecraft as of when I'm posting this, so I have a solution.

When crafted, cakes should be plain (no berries, just icing) but if you right click the cake with berries they will go on top of the cake and maybe add 1/2 to 2 hunger points than eating it plain. Cakes aren't used very often on normal gameplay but on low tps servers the extra bit of hunger would be quite useful.

Also berries are really boring as they are and they just need any use really.
