Make redstone run down the walls

You should make it so you can run redstone run down the walls so you can hide it better so you can make traps you could also make it flood in rainy places And make it so iron doors are not ugly and make it so that then you can dye it different colors

    It does not make sense. Redstone is a dust. If it were to be placed on a wall, it would fall off. Having it not run down walls leaves space for creativity with solving the problem. Also, could you please clarify what you mean by 'you could also make it flood in rainy places And make it so iron doors are not ugly and make it so that then you can dye it different colors'? I'm finding it difficult to understand this part of the sentence.

    I would suggest that it could be like maximum 2 blocks high so it is not over-powered
