The Squid Lantern!

The Squid Lantern would be a new light source added in 1.17. To start, the Squid Lantern is crafted with amethyst and a glow sack. The glow sack is a new item that is dropped upon killing a Glow Squid. It would be crafted like tinted glass, but the glass would be replaced with a glow sack. Crafting a Squid Lantern would give you two items, similar to tinted glass. Now, what does this lantern look like? Well, it would look similar to the Sea Lantern, including the animation. However, this new block would be black. It starts with a black outline, and the color becomes lighter as it reaches the center of the block. The center wouldn't be white though, it would be some type of dark grey. The Squid Lantern would be very useful when building, as its dark color would be useful when creating very dark builds. I envision this block being used to light up haunted builds, scary caves or even UFOs and alien themed builds. Another feature of the Squid Lantern would be its use when crafted together with a telescope. This would result in a new type of telescope which would allow you to find archeology sites. Blocks that are a part of archeology sites would be highlighted in black when looking through this new telescope. The Squid Lantern would be a great new addition, as it ties together a lot of different aspects of 1.17, and is useful in different styles of gameplay.
