Ender Barrels that link to each other with the SAME NAME

Ender Chests are private chests that link to all Ender Chests throughout the world. So, how about something like an Ender Barrel? When two or more Ender Barrels are renamed to the same name in an Anvil, they will share a common inventory. So, I can rename two Ender Barrels to "Lapis Lazuli", and place one in my home and another at my XP Farm enchanting setup and then I don't have to carry Lapis back and forth, and I also get to save space in my Ender Chest. The Crafting Recipe could be same as a Barrel, replacing the planks with Obsidian, and the slabs with Crying Obsidian, and an Eye of Ender in the middle.

I know I can just put a Shulker Box full of Lapis in an Ender Chest and be done with it, but that still takes up one slot in my Ender Chest for something that I'm probably not gonna use all that often.
